Got home at about 5.30 pm on Tuesday & put the finishing touches to finalising the boat for an early start to Somerset on Wednesdauy. Came upstairs to the phone ringing. Selfish mother had fallen & had a sore hip.
Fast forward to 10.00pm at the Weslet Hospital when I finally got away. No fishing on wednesday as too tired to get up. Mum then had the audacity ( the next day) of saying she had a week heart while I pointed out I missed out on going fishing. Doesn'thold much credence I pointed out as she is 94 . Selfish , selfish, selfiish. Maybe I will have a story next week. Oh she fractured her pelvis in 2 places, the attention seeker

Old people (and young ones too) have so little consideration for us lure chuckers. Honestly, I don't know why we bother!
