Did a quick trip to Maroon yesterday & left before the storm. All the weed beds & submerged trees are covered in that "snot" weed-algae. Even on retrievs in seemingly clear water resulted in the lure coming back covered. Did pick up a nice 42cm Yella that burried itself in the weed on its initial run. Very very fat. Also had fun with some small schools of what looked like spangles, chasing soft plastics but no hook ups. A few small bass but no size.
