 Tagged bass in robina/clear island water lake system ?

sHI guys, I caught my self a nice little bass on the weekend, with a tag in it. I was just wondering what the process is - who do i report it to , and what info they require?

Giday Bassday,

Congrats on the capture of the Bass. If you put ut the details here we can most likely tell you where and when it was caught.

But also you MUST ring the 1800 number on the tag and give them the details of .if you let it go, what size, what date, and they will send you a certificite with the name of the person whom first caught it and the date and size.

G'day Tony,

I couldnt see the number on there at the time as it was still dark and raining quite heavy.

details are as follows.

Size, 32cm to the fork
weight, not sure but very plump and healthy looking fish
location, under the bridge at the q super center, bundall
Time 4.15am 1024 hpa raining on and off

if there is anything else you need just yell

Thanks for that, but without the tag number we can't tell you anything about it. Sometimes, if you can't read the tag, you might have to cut it off and examine it at home. That's not the best thing if the fish is released because that is the end of it producing any future data, but basically if the fish was kept it would be no different.

Hold ona second there Roy, I think I recognize that fish.Very Plump!! I think it even has a name, but that escapes me at the present.

Ian, I thought there was an agreement reached that there would be closure over "Rhonda" the Robina Lakes plump bass.
