Spent Saturday morning driving around with the family getting a first hand view of creeks and launching spots that you have been sussing out on Google Earth. (Geez I have an understanding wife!)

Was on the road for just over 2 hours checking out bridge crossings and so on for parking, launching and general sticky beaking. First impressions were good, so I cant wait to go for a recon paddle...of course a rod will be taken.[Wink]

With any luck this will happen next weekend, so I dont have to wait till next season to check it out. I know both Bass and Cod are in this little stream, as they were both naturally occuring and stocked. Although I am not too optimistic about the fishing next weekend as the water temp was low. (due to rain and proximaty to creek headwaters)

Heres some creek porn to drool over.

On the way home stopped in to see Brian, Andrea and Jess...My god has Jess grown, but it has been about 6years since I have seen her. Anyways, 3 hours later we drove home! Least I wasnt paying for it like a phone call.
