The Lucky Craft Sammy is a great little surface lure, looks just like a little lizard swimming along and Leigh hooked up on a fair number of bass with it. It looked so good I decided I had to have one - googled it up that night and decided that as long as I'm capable of holding a piece of wood and a stanley knife there's no way I'm paying that much for a lure! I would appreciate some suggestions on a replacement, keeping in mind: 1. I don't want anything longer than 6'. 2. The trusty ABU1500c will be used, unless I can be convinced otherwise. 3. Cork grips. 4. Casting 1/4 - 1/2 oz lures, *****alls, spinner baits, plastics etc., etc., 6 - 8lb braid. 5. Light - arthiritic wrists @ fingers are starting to make their prescence felt. ... Its a bit shorter than a Nolls Native but about the same weight with the bulk of the weight in the bum so it casts pretty well.
